Information we collect

Optional account (Google sign-in)

You can use the site without an account. Progress sync is optional — guides and tools work fully without signing in. If you choose Continue with Google, we use Supabase Auth with Google as the sign-in provider. Google provides basic profile information such as your email address (and name/avatar if Google shares them). We use that only to identify your account and sync study progress.

You may also sign in with an email magic link (no password). We use the email address only to authenticate and sync progress.

Study progress

• Signed out (guest): Progress stays in your browser on this device (for example quiz best scores, flashcard ratings, study-path checkoffs, and checklist state via localStorage).
• Signed in: The same kinds of progress can sync to your account (hosted in Supabase) so it works across devices. On first sign-in we may offer to import progress from this device; we keep the better score when both sides have one.

We do not use progress data to claim you are ready for the written test or checkride.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-Z9REEE3JE4) to understand how the site is used. This includes page views and events such as opening guides or tools, starting or completing practice quizzes, flashcard sessions, study-path steps, CTA clicks, and clicks to external resource links (for example FAA pages).

Cookies / similar storage

• Theme preference and guest progress in localStorage on your device
• Sign-in session cookies/tokens managed by Supabase/Google when you sign in
• Analytics cookies/identifiers used by Google Analytics as configured by Google

How we use information

• Operate and improve the study site
• Sync optional account progress across devices
• Understand traffic and feature use via analytics

We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties

• Google — sign-in (if you choose it) and Analytics
• Supabase — authentication and synced progress storage

Their own privacy policies apply to their processing.

Your choices

• Use the site without signing in
• Sign out at any time; guides and tools remain available
• Clear site data in your browser to remove guest localStorage progress
• Request deletion of account/synced progress by emailing the address below (we will delete your account and synced progress on request)
• You can also use Google’s account controls for Google sign-in data

Children

The site is aimed at adult learners and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this page. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
